Formula 1 Returns to RTL: Seven Races Live on Free TV in 2024
RTL to Broadcast Select Grands Prix
After a brief hiatus, Formula 1 is making a comeback on German television giant RTL. In 2024, the network will broadcast seven live races for free. The specific Grands Prix to be aired will be announced at a later date.
RTL's Formula 1 Coverage
In addition to the live races, RTL will also cover all remaining Formula 1 Saturdays throughout the season. The network will provide comprehensive pre-race analysis, post-race interviews, and in-depth race highlights.
Other Broadcasters in Germany
Sky Deutschland will continue to hold the rights to broadcast all 24 races, as well as all sprint, qualifying, and training sessions. ORF (Austria), ServusTV (Austria), and SRF (Switzerland) will also broadcast Formula 1 races in their respective countries.
