Borussia Dortmund forward Niclas Füllkrug scored in a 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal on Wednesday. Füllkrug's goal came in the 72nd minute, when he pounced on a loose ball in the PSG penalty area and fired it past goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. The victory gives Dortmund a slight edge heading into the second leg in Paris on Tuesday, April 30.

Dortmund were the better team for much of the match, and they created several good chances to score. Jadon Sancho was particularly impressive, and he caused the PSG defense all sorts of problems with his pace and skill. PSG had their chances, but they were unable to find a way past Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki.
