Background and Career
Julian Martin Leeser, born on May 25, 1976, is an Australian politician representing the Division of Berowra for the Liberal Party. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016.
Leeser was born and raised in Sydney, and currently resides in Thornleigh with his wife, Joanna, and son, James.
Shadow Minister Positions
Leeser held the positions of Shadow Attorney General and Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians. However, he recently resigned from these positions less than a week after the election.
Advocacy for Indigenous Australians
Leeser has been actively involved in advocating for a Voice to Parliament for Indigenous Australians. Despite his efforts, he has not yet been able to persuade his fellow Liberal Party members to support the measure.
